Who we are

CommUNITY STEAM & Design Team is a nonprofit organization led by a passionate group of high school women dedicated to empowering the next generation of innovators. We offer free workshops, summer programs, and after-school activities focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) and architecture for underserved children in Bergen County, New Jersey.

Our mission is to bridge the gap in educational opportunities, inspire creativity, and foster a love for learning in fields that are shaping the future. Through hands-on experiences and mentorship, we aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child has the opportunity to explore their potential, develop new skills, and dream big.
